Scar treatment uses the 8mm DF (Deep Fractional) handpiece, specifically designed for skin resurfacing and scar procedures. Is Laser Scar Treatment Right for You?
Laser scar treatment is suitable for a wide range of scar types and skin tones, though every case requires individual assessment before treatment proceeds. The area being treated must be fully healed. Active wounds, infections, or recently formed scars are not suitable for laser treatment.
Treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, if there is an active skin infection in the treatment area, if you are taking photosensitising medication, or if you have used isotretinoin within the last six months. These are discussed at consultation.
